1. Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms & Conditions:
- "Service" refers to the financial education programs offered by forgee path
- "We," "Us," or "Our" refers to forgee path
- "You" or "Participant" refers to individuals enrolled in our programs
- "Agreement" refers to these Terms & Conditions along with our Privacy Policy
- "Content" includes all educational materials, deliverables, and intellectual property provided during programs
2. Acceptance of Terms
By enrolling in our financial education programs or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not enroll in our programs or use our services.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to enroll in our programs. By enrolling, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement.
4. Service Description
forgee path provides financial education programs focusing on:
- Central Bank and Monetary Policy Literacy
- Financial Modelling Basics
- Complete Personal Finance Curriculum
Program details, including duration, session format, and deliverables, are specified at the time of enrollment. We reserve the right to modify program content to improve educational quality or incorporate current developments.
5. Enrollment and Registration
Enrollment is confirmed upon receipt of payment and completion of registration procedures. Program capacity is limited to maintain educational quality. Registration is processed on a first-come, first-served basis. We reserve the right to decline enrollment at our discretion.
6. Fees and Payment
6.1 Program Fees
Program fees are stated in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and include all educational materials and deliverables specified in the program description. Fees are subject to change, but enrolled participants are charged the rate in effect at the time of enrollment.
6.2 Payment Terms
Full payment is required before program commencement unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing. Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, online payment, and cash payment at our office.
6.3 Refund Policy
Cancellations made more than 14 days before program start date: Full refund minus RM 100 administrative fee. Cancellations made 7-14 days before start date: 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days before start date: No refund. No refunds after program commencement except in cases of documented medical emergency.
7. Participant Responsibilities
As a participant, you agree to:
- Attend all scheduled sessions or notify us in advance of absences
- Bring required materials (laptop, notebook) as specified for your program
- Complete exercises and assignments to maximize learning outcomes
- Respect other participants and maintain a conducive learning environment
- Provide accurate contact information and notify us of any changes
- Use program materials for personal learning purposes only
- Maintain confidentiality regarding other participants' personal information
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 Our Rights
All content, materials, curriculum, and deliverables provided during programs remain the intellectual property of forgee path. This includes presentations, handouts, templates, models, and reference guides.
8.2 License to Use
Upon enrollment, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use program materials for your own financial education and planning purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit these materials.
8.3 Your Content
Documents and models you create during programs using your personal financial data remain your property. We do not claim ownership of your personal financial information or planning documents.
9. Educational Disclaimer
forgee path provides financial education, not financial advice. Our programs do not constitute professional financial planning, investment advice, tax advice, or legal counsel. We do not recommend specific financial products or investments. Participants should consult qualified professionals for personalized financial advice suited to their individual circumstances.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law:
- We are not liable for any financial decisions you make based on program content
- Our total liability is limited to the amount of fees paid for the relevant program
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages
- We make no guarantees regarding specific educational outcomes or financial results
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or matters that cannot be excluded under Malaysian law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless forgee path, its instructors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms & Conditions, misuse of program materials, or violation of applicable laws.
12. Program Changes and Cancellations
We reserve the right to reschedule sessions due to unforeseen circumstances. If we cancel a program before commencement, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to the next available cohort. We are not liable for participant costs related to rescheduling.
13. Termination
We may terminate your enrollment for disruptive behavior, violation of these terms, or failure to maintain a respectful learning environment. No refund will be provided for terminations due to participant misconduct.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Melaka, Malaysia. Both parties agree to attempt informal resolution before pursuing formal legal action.
15. General Provisions
15.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms & Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and forgee path regarding our services.
15.2 Severability
If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
15.3 Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
15.4 Assignment
You may not transfer or assign your enrollment without our written consent. We may assign this Agreement in connection with a business transfer.
16. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Enrolled participants will be notified of material changes via email. Continued participation after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
